Pamps 2010 - anyone booked yet?

Just interested because we looked and the prices have risen massively. Also, there are no available flights in or out of Plovdiv - which means an awfully long transfer via Sofia

Hi, A previous post said that there would be Plovdiv flights and they would be sorted at the end of March so worth waiting until then (I am not sure who that was with). Certainly the price in the Orlovetz has risen!!!
Julie.

Barry did say that - the travel agent rang Thomson and asked them and they said they MIGHT release some Plovdiv flights later in the year. They also said that 2010 half term availability is pretty limited and suggested we book now and then pay to change the flights if Plovdiv became available!
However, we're also concerned about the conditions. Half term snow was fantastic this year - but I wouldn't have wanted to be there any other week. Having spent the last 4 half term hols in Pamps, ...

However, we're also concerned about the conditions. Half term snow was fantastic this year - but I wouldn't have wanted to be there any other week. Having spent the last 4 half term hols in Pamps, we do love the place, but the uncertainty of good skiing coupled with the prospective nightmare transfers have led us to look elsewhere for next year.

I think a lot of people feel the same unfortunately ... and there's less chance of them releasing Plovdiv flights if not enough people book the ones for Sofia ....catch 22 ..... no surefire answer either Crying

Dona, I tried to find a last minute deal (out of interest for future years)for this years half term, nothing doing!
It appears there are deals to be had if your dates are flexible, but, if like us you are stuck with the school holidays the prices appear to remain high.
Nigel we went to Italy at half term with friend who went to Borovets at Xmas who said that the only things more expensive in Italy was the lift passes and lessons.
Food and drink was very comparable.
Shop around it can be ...

Shop around it can be done and before you jump on me I love Pamps (learnt to ski there) but felt I needed a change.
