Pamps 3rd Feb - Orlovetz Hotel

Hi All,

God I love this board, its so helpful and so great..Well as the subject line goes - off to pamps 3rd feb for a week, cant wait..we arrive in the Orlovets around 4 a.m. 4th Feb due to Transfer from Plovdiv etc but can anyone advise If i'll be expected to go queue for Ski gear the next Morning (Sunday) or will they take pity on me in my exhausted state and let us queue Monday morning.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated...

not necessary.

get up at about 12, get taxi to depot and get sorted out then. Ski sunady afternoon.

Make sure you get your token/tickets for ski haire and lift passes from your rep first though

I'm there saturday, that hotel, flying with monarch.

4 am? Sounds a bit strange. We leave Gatwick at 11:30 I think.

Coming from Dublin to Pamps on Saturday, but it'll be a middle of the night arrival at the hotel for us too! Gosh, best get some zzzzzzzzzz's on the plane and the bus.

Yeah we are leaving from Cork..ariving at plovdiv around midnight (assuming no delays)...its a 2.5 / 3 hr transfer from airport to Pamps and then by the time we get checked in (as there are 10 of us), Im guessing it wont be far off 4 a.m. anyway like !!...

Cant wait to hit the slopes though...how many in the Dublin group, Im sure we'll be slinging a few friendly jokes at each other...ha ha...

Proud to say we ain't Dubs!
We are lily white golfers who fly from Dublin airport. We leave Dublin at 4.30pm or something like that and stay at Hotel Pamporovo so if you've heard anything about it, do please let's know. Bon voyage Paul!

AH Pamphrs, you should have been a dub, for the hotel pamporovo will be full them givin it the oul jasussss and the like. Lilly white golfers fitting in there..he he

Its 90 mins from Plovdiv to Pamps not 3 hrs.

Thanks for that Donkey! Don't worry, we're good at the auld camouflage! Denny - thanks a mil - I too thought it was 2.5 - 3 hours. Anybody got any knowledge on cleanliness or food at Hotel Pamporovo!
