Hi all,
Have been checking out this site for a few weeks now in preparation for our first trip to Pamporovo on 29/2. Have noticed the regularity of a few names especially Pamps Pete!
Was just wondering ... are you a permanent fixture in Pamporovo or do you just go there a lot, and if you're out there most of the time, where do we find you cos we'd like to meet you.
We think this is an excellent site and worth every visit, we feel as though we're going out to a party not a strange ...

Wish we were Helen. No we are just a sad bunch of UK holidaymakers who just love Bulgaria.
I first went to Pamporovo in 1992 and have been every year since. Also go to Sunny Beach in the Summer which is equally as good. I started posting on this board about 2 years ago and just got hooked on it. The owners of the site contacted me as I posted so often and asked me to monitor the board, and have given me access to remove unpleasant postings, (fortunately that is a very rare requirement ...

Others have also joined the band of regulars and we have a great laugh as well as giving out hopefully, useful information and answer as many questions as we can.
It can get a little tedious answering the same questions every day, which is why we take the piss when we see the same old questions repeated, but it is all in fun.
Will be in Sunny Beach on June 19th. Give it a try, you will love it!!
In Summer we all move over to the summer discussion board and start all over again. I have added the link below, just right click on it and take a look.

Have just had a quick look at the beach site, not bad! Which hotel do you recommend.
We are used to going long haul, but occasionally fancy a short break somewhere in europe so may give it a try sometime.

Helen,There are some really good hotels in Sunny Beach and some pretty awful ones too.
I would recommend any of the following.
Alba (Where we will be staying.)
Kuban
Mercury
Chaka
Victoria Palace
Globus
Dont go less than 4 star or you will be disappointed.

Hi Pete,Can you give me any hints on getting a lift pass. Cant get one from tour operator and Im told they are really expensive in resort. Do you know anywhere that sells them cheap?
Any help would be great.
And Im going on Saturday so see anyone who is out there in a few days!

Paul no photo required now. Instead they are using DNA.
Currently using earwax samples.
Levs can be obtained from any guy in the street wearing a bobble hat, rates are approx. 10 lev to the £.
Credit cards are widely accepted by bell sellers but they need to go away and scan it, I mean swipe it.
They can also be used to purchase piston engines, easter eggs, and hankies.
