i looked on the BBC weather site and it said that there was 3 lifts open and there was 23cm of snow at the top and 10cm and the bottom. Skiing was possible, is this true? why are people saying that they are staying in?re: Pamps Snow Report
Because of the warm weather the wild bears have not started there hibernation yet, you know how grumpy bears are when they're tired?Tired Bears x skiers= Danger!

They are bulgarian Bears. adept at skiing. I've seen a few out on Snowboards but they are the uncircumstised ones, as everyone know you have to be a complete pr*** to be a boarder.Only joking Dudes!

so really though is it possible to ski still ok if ur not really bothered about smelly skiing bears? And i dont mean really hairy people

Been told by someone staying in our hotel late last week that the snow was skiable up top.But a post earlier from Pamps said it was getting bad to the point of no skiing on the greens and above.
PP post a report on Fridays from people in BG, andthere is a dump due fri/sat.

two days last week I did not ski it was far too icy, with too many people using the only runs open making it even more icier.... when it did snow on Tuesday night it was great the next few days.
if it had not snowed on the Tuesday night there was talk they were going to shut the runs down on the Wednesday.
the ice did not put a lot of people off but I preferred to be pampered in the spa than risk breaking something trying to ski.

there was talk of a coach to take people to Bansko Christmas week when I was in bansko but it never happened as far as I know, and no one mentioned it new years week when I was in pamps - I am sure they will arrange this if one resort has snow and another has none, but its a bit of a long drive to the other resorts.... other than chepelarie (spell check) there are no other resorts that near to pamps that I know of. I spent 2 days off the slopes new years week and another 2 days only sking a ...

I spent 2 days off the slopes new years week and another 2 days only sking a few slopes and still had a great time, there was nothing I could do about the weather and just had to make the most of a ski holdiay with little snow, it still flies by and you are back at work in no time. just to go up the mountain and sit outside one of the restaurants in the sun is better than being at work. hopefully next year will be a different story.
