I blew up sat and sun pics on sunday,they were both the same, but then I mentioned it, and the sunday shot was changed, the sun gets higher in the sky each day, so the shadows should change the position of their tops. Both sat and sunday pics were a few seconds apart on the same day. the lady in the white bobble hat on saturdays shot is now earlier in the sunday shot. and the ice is no different. Elimentary my dear Pete.
andrew, I can only assume you are not looking at the live cam! The one on this site is a snap from the live cam only. Hope that clears up your lemon entry
Well it's pretty dark now and the snow STILL looks ok ... we were having to walk down that bit in 07 - it was horrible - all mud and puddles at the bottom by the end of the day and frozen sheet ice first thing in the morning.
I think I was better off the very first time we went - I knew nothing about this site and simply assumed that, as it was a ski resort, there would obviously be snow ... and there was!
The year Lizzi means all the area at the bottom where the webcam is was mud and slush and you even had to walk down to the 3 man lift ( can't remember if this was last year or the year before) but the runs were all open and I skied every day of every hol for the last 4 yrs. Not necessarily brilliant conditions all the time but more than enough to keep my small mind amused. Its hard for us to understand how come it looks like there is more snow but no runs are open. Just gonna wait til I get ...
