We've had a really cold day with snow, halestone, and rain. Its minus 2 down in the resort at the moment 9.30pm.
Its still skiable up top but very thin the further down the mountain you ski.
Beginners will still be ok, plenty of snow up top and it was still snowing when we came down at 3pm.
Not snowing now but still cold.
I can highly recommend the Ski-Doos booked through Thomsons, we were taken to the Perelik Mountain (next mountain along) which is a higher mountain ...

I can highly recommend the Ski-Doos booked through Thomsons, we were taken to the Perelik Mountain (next mountain along) which is a higher mountain with loads more snow.
Not brilliant conditions at half way, but we can still ski to bottom, you just have to watch where you ski.
We've had a good week, ski-ing every day, got up there early this morning 8.30 bus. Only about 4 people on the mountain.
Not many people here so the runs are pretty quiet. Thomson rep said they only have 80 booked next week and some reps are going home this week.
So if you are coming out you should have a quiet mountain.
Thats it folks, we are off home Sat. Have a good week to all coming out, you'll still have fun.
The snow board park at Momchilovtsi is the same altitude as middle station in Pamps and they have skidoos there for hire ,60 lev per half hour for 2 peps or 45 lev for one peps .no restrictions the mountain is yours . We had a great time and ski hire and ski pass are cheap too.

Thanks AA for the report. At least if it's quiet, we should be able to get some skiing in on what snow is there. Hopefully the snow dances will come to fruition by the time we arrive and there'll be a bit more snow yet to come.
Thanks for your cheerful report, we were getting really down over here about the lack of snow.Nearly pulled out this morning and had a row with the travel agent who said according to the rep in pamps there was plenty of snow and didn't know what I was talking about.
How much is it Joff? Forest Nook provide the skidoo trips for some of the tour operators, I heard it was cheaper to go through the operators though rather than through reception.
