With all tour operators (Balkan, Crystal, Thomsons etc) cancelling flights after the 7th March from certain airports and people being put off by a 4 hour transfer from Sofia, what the hell is Pamps going to be like from the 14th onward?

Its going to be really quiet and I just hope peiste maintaince don't throw the towel in and neglect the pistes, especially if there's good snow. I go on the 21st and I know PP and his party are too but who else?

I think we'll have the whole mountain to ourselves, just hope it snows and all the bars & restaurants haven't closed.

Worry ye not mate - it will be quiet but thats a positive. No queues, everybody wanting our business, wide open slopes and I reckon brilliant snow at the end of the season too.

As you are on your own you are welcome to join us for the week. There will be 3 of us who are fairly good skiers plus maybe 2 more, and we will all be free-skiing, and 3 beginners who will go into ski school.

We always go to the Markony after skiing for a couple of bevvies then after dinner we tend to flit between White Hart, Apres Ski Bar, Daks, Spiders and DJ's. Also spend some time in the Mourgavets Casino. Plus there will be Gary, Ted, Moey Steve and his mate Bulgarian Pete with us on most nights.

Thanks for the invite to ski with you and your party! I'd love too! I'm free skiing too, just had the free lift pass and hired some ski's. I've been skiing 20 odd years so quite good but just getting a bit unfit due to age (52) and weight (beer & wine) but can still tackle anything Pamps can throw at me. Last year spent most evenings in the White Hart (great live band) and the newer bar further down (Karaoke) usually went in the Markony after skiing aswell. How similar our Pamps skiing habits are?
