Pamps in Feb

hi,

i'm thinking of booking skiing in pamporovo in february 2007. I've been before in 2005, but in early March. The snow and skiing was excellent and we stayed in the pamporovo hotel which was pleasantly comfortable.
We went to borovets last year and although the skiing was excellent I and others just didn't enjoy the resort quite as much as we did pamporovo.

hi,

i'm thinking of booking skiing in pamporovo in february 2007. I've been before in 2005, but in early March. The snow and skiing was excellent and we stayed in the pamporovo hotel which was pleasantly comfortable.
We went to borovets last year and although the skiing was excellent I and others just didn't enjoy the resort quite as much as we did pamporovo.
We are hoping together a group of 10 to 12 mostly N.Irish late 20s to early 30s for this seasons trip and its looking like we will be going out in February 3rd or 17th , these being the most suitable times for everyone.
Can anyone let me know from their experience what the snow conditions are generally like over february and also what some of the more cental hotels like the Perilik, mourgavets or orvaletz are like, comfortwise, foodwise, sevice and general atmosphere?

re: Pamps in Feb

we have a group of 10 N/Irish going out on 3rd/4th feb 2007. our family have been going for many years now, and February is often a good time for them. One of the regulars might be able to help you a bit more....

re: Pamps in Feb

been i feb for the last 2 years. n Irish too.

Last year a group of 20 of us, similar ages to you, stay in pamps at the zora. Deadly . Right beside daks, first bus in the morning, bar open all night. Hotel clean and warm with good food. Mainly adults so children not all over the place.

Speak to Roberto at balkan tours in Ann st belfast. You will get the whole lot, flights, half board, ski hire lift passes ski school and insurance for about 500 and a flight direct from belfast

the ones in my group will be from County Down, Armagh, Fermanagh, Monaghan and Yorkshire, so quite a cosmopolitan bunch!

re: Pamps in Feb

around this time

you can wait to later but the danger is the group might not all get into the same accomodation. The other benefit is that most poeple had it paid and put of the way before christmas

Charlotte,

What tour company did you book with, where are you flying from and did you get a good deal for that week?

re: Pamps in Feb

I am flying from Manchester airport and i booked with crystal. To be honest i am not sure how much i am paying because there is a big group we all owe different. I am assuming we had a discount aswell. I find crystal a good price anyway to go with. They have generally been great for us-Julia is fab too, the best rep!!
