Hi AllJust a quick weather update from Pamporovo Castle - Not much has been going on the last few days following the rain on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day - the slopes have had a battering!!
Tas been snowing most of the morning here now though following and ice storm through the nite! If this keeps up all day there may be a few days of fun up on the slopes for the rest of the week.

while watching and waiting for a big dump!!! ;

Hi AllSnow did not really come to much at the Castle (Just below mid-station) yesterday or last night! Really only a dusting at this level.
Good news is that tempretures are dropping and we are starting to see the freeze so with any luck the snow cannons will be on in the coming days!
Thinking of going up on a half day today to see what the upper slopes are like so will report back later!

No more new snow since Tuesday my friend but it is dam cold and the snow cannons have been working night and day since then!
Most reports from people on the mountain are its hard packed and a bit icy but the Stoykite run (with cannons all the way) is the best run down the mountain. Place is looking busy with all the locals coming up for New Year parties and plenty of folks on the slopes down to midstation mean it can not be that bad!
Its been a bluebird and sunshine day ...
No more new snow since Tuesday my friend but it is dam cold and the snow cannons have been working night and day since then!

All will be fine Keggy - They will get you up the mountain and skiing something in no time!!!Don't worry be happy - looking like light snow all next week now - you will have a great time here i promise!!!
