Please allow me the courtesy to interject, I am a professional body and have resided in this area for over 6 years, therefore I have the knowledge and experience of the area in which you make you rather bazaar claims. I note someone earlier posted (now I believe the thread is deleted) nonessential claims with reference to Pamporovo, the claim was that he had visited Pamporovo for many years and was 100% negative. If I took an instant dislike to a resort I would not return. Therefore I can not understand the intellectual level of the previous poster.

Pamporovo is not the highest resort in Bulgaria, it has come along leaps and bounds over the last year, Yes there is room for improvement but as long as the country is changing that is very encouraging. Pamps is a lovely friendly family ski resort with lots to offer, it is great for beginners and intermediate skiers, there are many other things to do and enjoy as well as skiing. Constructive Criticism is fine but none factual criticism is not.

The posts you refer to were from Mikey, (the same person who has replied above) who is someone I know you are familiar with and someone for reason beyond me sees it fit to delight in trying to tell lies and run down his own country. I have made it clear many many times that this individual is only on here to cause trouble and nothing he says should ever be believed.
He will of course respond to this with more fantasy claims so he is best ignored.

We do our best to keep this site friendly and honest - but there will always be the likes of him in the World and we just have to put up with these sad individuals unfortnately.

Thanks Pete, Would you go to a resort for 35 years, year after year, before deciding it is just not for you and the rest of the world? Yes i admitt to having a vested interest in Pamporovo, but this is with good reason? this is because I believe in the future of Pamporovo. I have spent over 42,416 hours in this this area therefore i experienced to speak for the past, present and future of the resort. I am not interest in the past, I am interested in the now and the future. transition is never easy and does not always run smoothly, but the resort is heading in the right direction, my glass is always half full. Mikey must have looked very hard to find a prostitute in the resort, i have never seen one, but i guess if you are that way inclined and look hard enough you will find one any where in the world. I rest my case

Nasty tourists, I find most holiday makers very friendly and intellectual which is more than can be said for Mike the desperate guy looking hard to find a prostitute. Your communistic attitude and narrow mindedness is letting you down. Can you please post the links to me showing these other world wide ski resorts that have less expensive ski lift prices? Lets have some proof by way of backing up your claims, at present lift passes are 50 lev per day in this resort. This does not detract from having a good skiing holiday as you only book during the limited season. We do not have long elongated queuing lines!!!! Do not try and comment on my situation and finances in the country Mike as you are simply speculating without doing your research., you mentioned fault lingo, please return to your post, now this is as you put it fault lingo, one last comment: give a man enough rope

Im quite happy to agree that in terms of customer relations at the one end of the scale you have disney, and the other Bulgarian lift operators! and yes it would be lovely to see millions pumped into the infrastructure, but the money has to come from somewhere! so you want even cheaper lift passes, and working out cost per km is just plain daft, work it per holiday!!, try going to Austria, blooming mortgage required !! chill out and let us poor stupid Brits enjoy our hols, and you can sit back nice and smugly in your bath chair
