Well having skied down early. Returned the skis and got the 6lev deposit returned from the gondola ticket desk. Then dived into the Happy End bar opposite for some lunch and a couple of

Then just went back to the hotel and used the pool ready for the last night in Bansko town. We struggled to find a mechana that wasn't booked though. Eventually found one and ordered one of their speciality dishes which would easily have fed four people. They had a very noisy local band but it ...

We shared our table with some locals one of whom spoke good english. This is quite common in the mechanas as the tables are often quite large but we found the Bulgarians really friendly and happy to talk when their knowledge of english permitted.
