cash machine @ hotel maugavets i think, there is exchanges in all hotels so it doesn't really matter but i think u r better taking english to change when ur there. credit cards aren't excepted as far as i know in most places.

Hi,
Pamps is brill we took friends of ours for the first time in March, and we are all returning the 23rd Dec.
Its cheap, the people are great the food's ok in the hotels
We change currency into Lev take some sterling and there are cash machines. if you run out.
What hotel are you staying at?
It's great learning to ski.

re: Pamps

Only change your curency at your hotel or the bank do not use the change boothes that you may see as they are a rip off. Or take Levs Barclays rate is currently around 2.7 to the pound which is pretty much what you will get in resort anway.
There is a cash machine at the Murgavets and the Perelik.
Go with an open mind and remember this is eastern europe. Anything else fire away.
Very Happy

re: Pamps

We are staying atEvridika hotel .
Last minute booking ,was either here or the bora.
Led to believe it has recently been renovated, but is out of the way a bit.
Couple more things for advise from you good people If I may-
How cold - how many layers for skiing etc
My 8yr old wants to try snowboarding, we are all booked in for ski school - but is it poss to book him a snow board session local.

Anyone else at this hotel for new year
