many thanks for your time!

1 ski school is same as yours you go in morning ski all day pack up together then bus back, its simple, you can be in the same group you know, from age 8 kids and adults can ski together
The bus pass the Panorama on a fairly regular basis from what I can recall. I usually leave my board at the ski school and I think you can do the same with the ski's, you should get a ticket that has a number on it so you get the same ski's every day you can at some hotels they have a ski room there so you can take them to your hotel most of the buses that travel to the resort have boot space for ski and stuff. Although its a bit of a free for all getting off.
Is it easy to get to the local shops etc from the ski school meeting point etc- im not in ski school but the kids are. Plan to drop them off then have a wander up for a paper, go skiing myself and read later on at lunchtime whilst enjoying a beer!
Cheers

We have stayed in the Murgavets (P.P.s reccomendation) and it was nice, food was ok and rooms were warm and spacious. All in all a good hotel for the money. Hope you have a good holiday.
I am wondering whether any of you can help me? I am thinking of going to Hotel Bor (Cheap deal!!!!) at the beginning of March for a week. This will be my first time ski-ing, and was considering taking the ski-ing lessons, but its 4 hours for 6 days!!! When I get to the resort, do they offer any lessons? i.e half days? Hope you can help! Any other tips let me know!!!!
Ian - as PP says the Orlovetz, Murgavets and Perelik are all central and pretty good except the Orlovetz which is fab. Also the Snezhanka is a lovely hotel opposite the perelik. I think with 2 boys you may find you would prefer somewhere central so that you can keep them amused in the evenings without forking out a fortune on taxi's. The ski bus has its 1st stop at the Snezhanka so no hassle getting on ( same stop for Perelik and Orlovetz) and runs for a couple of hours in the ...

Joy - yes ski school is 4hrs a day for 6 days but you don't have to stay all day it is very flexible and its much cheaper prebooking the learn to ski with your tour operator than booking lessons in resort ...its £98 with Thomson/Crystal this year and includes lift pass/tuition and equipment ....you really can't beat it. I remember my 1st ski hol 4 years ago and thought the same as you but did more than 4hrs a day without noticing and had a fab time and am sure you will too.
