Mcdoodle, my daughter's expires in July, but I was a little concerned as we travel in Feb, and thought perhaps we needed 6 months validity. I think I will do a print out from that website that you linked to , just in case we get a jobs-worth as passport control!

I thought it might be 6 months too, but apparently not - hoping the Foreign Commonwealth Office is the 'Horses Mouth' on such matters - taking a print out is actually a very good idea Smile

@ Billy - the .gov.uk address is a link to the foregin and commonwealth website where the info for Bulgaria, not an email address.

Has anyone had an issues with this. I just noticed a couple of the kids passports run out in May. FCO website is quite clear and as BG is in EU there should be no problem but all you need is one idiot CheesyJet agent or officious boarder official....

I took my kids in Jan and their passports expire in March - no issues at all. I took a print out of the web page ust in case but it wasn't needed.... That said it was BA, however it shouldn't make a difference....
