Hey, does anyone know how much remaining time you need on your passport after your return date to go to Bulgaria? About to book for Boro but realised it expires in May, and I know some countries require x months on a passport after your return date before they'll let you in. Cheers
Thanks for the link Sarah was getting a bit worried as we fly out the 21st, first someone told me 3 months which is fine but then someone at work said 6 months which would have been total disaster well headache more than anything owe you a drink
Thanks for all the replies, and thanks for the link as well Sarah. Much appreciated. Looks like I might just be alright but I'll consider standard/fast track renewal once booked. Cheers

Apparently no EU country can set additional requirements for the travel of EU citizen for a stay of up to 3 months. All you need is a valid passport which covers your stay....
Although I don't mind admitting this post spooked me a bit as I fly next Thursday and I'd can't see me managing to get replacements before then! I've rechecked and the situation hasn't changed, thankfully
Hi, had the same worries as mine expires in June but I checked + as MocMoodle says it only has to be valid for the duration of your stay if you are there for less than 3 months so dont worry.
