I'm flying to Borovets on 7th Feb 2004 but my passport expires on 15th June 2004 (less than 6 months remaining). Does anyone know if this is a problem?
I think it might well be i belive and I could be wrong but you have to have 6 months remaining on date of travel. MIght be worth renewing it just in case.
You'd be safer to renew - as long as you do it NOW.
Make sure you provide a copy of your confirmation with flight details - and if poss take it down to one of the passport offices. Find out how much it costs to do it through the post office - but get a move on.
Don't want you getting there and finding there is a problem
If you go to the Post office it will cost you £47.00 to re-new and will take 10/14 days (£42 + £5.00 for them to check that its filled in OK and they post it for you)
A visa is issued only to bearers of passports or travel documents, which are valid for the country of Bulgaria for at least 3 months after the end of the intended stay and which contain a blank page for affixing of visa vignettes.
yesterday I 'renew' my passport for 5 years and it's 77 euro.
Here in Belgium you can't renew your international passport, so I took it for 5 years now! that means that I must go every year on vacation...hahaha
