Payment into the Orphanage - Halifax Account

I recently have had a payment into the Halifax account for the Orphanage Stoikite Appeal Fund but it does not have a reference.

If you have made a payment into the account over the last couple of days could you please email me asap.

I am bumping this back up to the top because I have now received a further 4 payments into the Halifax account that remain unidentified. These donations were received between 20 April and today.

Please contact me asap if you have made a donation and have not had an email from me acknowledge receipt.

Andie - I paid a donation in on Friday 9th, £54.50 from "Girlguiding Corby and Rockingham Forrest" Willow District. Paid in in Corby Branch, but might show as Mon 12th May. If you would like to add it to your list. Not a great amount, but a step in the right direction.

TD - I had checked the Appeal Fund this morning and was concerned that I could not identify who had donated the money. I can now update the Donations List showing the name(S) of the people donating.

I have deliberately chosen an older thread to update those of you who have helped us with your generous donations and to let you know how we are doing.

We are nearly there as today the Heating Fund figure stands at €28,027.07 (give or take a stotinki or two and exchange rates etc).

could have been jordan and peter, they are talking about adopting a bulgarian orphan. Seems to be the latest fashion accesory, what next

Latest update: We have today had a donation of £288.61 (an international transfer) into the Appeal Fund. This means that with all the recent donations the total now stands at €29,641.20 and just €358.80 from our target figure of €30,000.

We can't thank everyone enough for their kindness and support and we can now almost definitely say that the children will have warm toes this winter.

Thanks to a donation from Nathan yesterday I updated the website to read:

" today we received a donation from Nathan Smith of ?150. The total now stands at ?29,785.00.

This means that we are now only 215.00 away from our target figure of ?30,000 "". 24.07.08

Update - 25 July 2008 - We have done it !!!!

It is a memorable day for everyone concerned with the Stoikite Orphanage Appeal Fund. Today we were notified of a donation of ?215 from LUCI and her company, J Blewitt & Co which brought the final total of actual donations to the elusive ?30,000 for the Heating Fund - see our Latest News & Update page for more info.
