Perelik

Does anyone know if they have improved the facilities at the Perelik over the summer? Has the pool been cleaned/re-decorated? Etc.....

re: Perelik

I think they where supposed to be doing something to it but I am not sure. Certainly all the current brochures do not mention it so I would not get your hopes up.

re: Perelik

Thanks
I had a feeling that might be the case as the price is about the same as last year.

re: Perelik

Yup they never seem to change that much. When are you off? Have you looked at the Murgavets much nicer hotel for not much more money.

re: Perelik

Looking at around 15/1/05 and pricing up Perelik/Murgavets. Yep, agree Murgavets looked a lot nicer when I was there last year and is likely to be no 1 choice. I think if no improvements to Perelik then it will be Murgavets.

Me thinks I am a bit of a sad git, coz I have beem looking for ski deals since July.
Last year was my (and my families) first year. Got the bug big time and cant wait to get back there.

re: Perelik

Have to say would recommend the Snezkenka. I would say this hotel is a three star. Staff are very helpful. Ski bus stops outside, rooms not bad, food not bad (that seems to be par for the course in Bulgaria !) Put it like this I've only styayed there three times, but the staff
1 have not changed
2 remember me any my pals from previous visits

Perlick is a little old fashioned
Mougrates - didnt stay there, but from a lobby point of view, would be the most luxurious in Pamp

re: Perelik

I was in Pamporovo in july this year, looks like tennis courts have gone as they are digging a tunnel from the perelik to the new hotel that they are building across the road in front of the perelik.I hope that they will finish the new hotel or stop work on it as it will be very noisy for all rooms at the front of the perelik.sorry but I didnot go into the hotel

re: Perelik

As I posted last week, a sister hotel to the Perelik is being built opposite, but will not be ready this season. Once it has been completed a full facelift of the Perelik will take place.

The tennis courts and outside pool (that was never used) are being replaced by a bus terminal.

The White Hart Pub is gone and being replaced by a ski depot.
