I must be as sad as you Dick, for I to have been watching them, all we need now is some fresh snow, and the VIP lounge to be opened for the end of Jan.p.s. I bet S.P. has had acrafty peek at the cam, even when he pledged not to look before end of December!!!!!

I too have been watching the bashers at work, also spotted on the Rila. Im wondering why are the snow canons operating at temps above -6, we have always been told that it needs to be that cold but sites are showing temps higher. Not that im complaining.Off to do a snow dance now!

new to this forum but really keen to get any form of news on the conditions and levels of snow in Borovets. I'm an intermediate at best on the piste but my partner is fairly good, im hoping for all the runs to be open come 4th Jan as we have booked for a week. What do you think our chances are?
Having not been to Borovets its hard to know from the web cam images what conditions are like - there seems to be some snow about but i dare say the snow cannons get put on the runs ...

No Manc Tom,like I pledged not looking at the web cams until Jan 1st. I'm quite happy looking at Lake Louise and Sunshine resorts out in Bannf, not wishing life away but CANT WAIT to be out there again especially if some of the gang are coming as well.

WHOOO I saw the racing from Lake Louise on Eurosport last weekend, a bit murky but did look stunning place, I will have to tell Anne to come out of semi retirement and earn a bit more.Banff and Louise are covered by the same pass I believe !!

Lake Louise, Sunshine Village and Mount Norquay all covered on same pass. Banff is just the place you stay which covers them alldbut
