We fly tomorrow from Gatwick... can't wait! That was just a gloat though... the question is, how do you say Please and Thank You in Bulgarian? Feel very ignorant when I can't even do that in another country! Word for Beer would be good too I suppose... bet its bier.... And Gin....

Have a good time Tasmin, if you have time log on to babelfish its an on line translation program and its free you can type in any phrase or words in english and it will translate them into any language you like! Hope this helps

If you go onto the BBC website and search for Learn Bulgarian it will bring up some useful words and phrases, its got sound too!!!

In phonetics with pronunciation on the italics,

Hello = zdrah-vehy-teh
Goodbye = do-vizh-dah-neh
Yes = dah
No = neh
Please = mo-lya
Thankyou = blah-gho-dah-rya mehr-si
