Plodiv Airport

I know this is a bit of a random question but what is the airport like especially for coming home (like facilities and things!!) because we got stuck in Heraklion airport in Greece on a delay and there was nothing there not even a bar where we could get a drink!!!

Any info would be greatly recieved!!!

Right Plovdiv is BASIC. It was originally a military base and adapted for the ski season. It has 1 tiny duty free shop which sometimes has next to nothing in it. No cafes or coffee shops.

I don't know when you last went to Plovdiv airport but we have just come back.
There is a coffee shop before check in and another in the waiting area after check in.
Coffee, crisps, chocolate etc etc.

Really???? Bloody hell I stand corrected!!!! They have not been sneeky and stuck loads of duty free shops in as well have they? Or the new executive lounge?

Ha, now that is a jest.
You are right, basic is the word, but, there are two coffee, i'll rephrase it, counters, but at least it is better than nowt!!

Daniel obviously you've been to drunk to notice, but the coffee shop and snack shop have been there at least 10 years!!!!!!

Plovdiv airport is very very basic....Ive seen bigger cowsheds..
