Evenin' all.
School boy question, but does anyone know the type of electricity plugs Bulgaria uses? I've got a few European converters (round pins, plan pins etc) and want to take the right ones. ...otherwise our nine year old will never forgive me cos her DS won't charge!
Am off to Perun in Bansko on 20 Jan. Looking at Accuview and Benson's predections we should be showered with the white stuff.
Whats the score when it's snowing - do they close the lifts or is it simply ...

2 pin round.Lifts only close due to high winds or servicing (Half a day a week - one full day a month). Very seldom will they close for any other reason!

Hi Andy we are going out on 20th staying at perun where are you flying from and how many of you are going? Good news about ther snow but I think it is going to be cold. I would prefer too munch than not enough, anyway I'm surer we will have a good time and reviews on the Perun sound brill especially the breakfasts. Where are you flying from Andy?My 9 year old Poppy will be delighted that some- one her age is staying at the same hotel.We're going from Manchester.
I've just packed her off to bed else she'd be posting herself (as she has been all day)

Plugs use normal european adapters - but sometimes things run a bit slow (hairdryers, etc). We managed to charge our stuff - no probre: Plugs & Skiing in the Snow
PP - cheers but! You're achieving legend status in my eyes for the info you post! PS Currently living in Cardiff so have a soft spot for the Bluebirds (good start but having rough time at the mo.). If you need any info about the homeland let me know!
Hi Mel - we're out of Gatwick into Plovdiv (3pm flight I think). There's a family of us - 7 in total. Me & the missus, our 4 girls (or biyatches as we loving know them) ages 9, 18 20 & 23 plus Rhys, b/f of No1 biyatch!

Thanks Mel so much for all your replies to her.She's now as hooked on this site as the rest of us.
At some point I am going to have to wean myself off and get on with all the packing.

Hi Ali - am from Bolton originally - how about you?I saw Poppy's name in earlier threads and mentioned to the missus about our 9 yo perhaps having someone to play with. I'll get her posting !
