Poker / Lone Ranger

Traveling alone to Borovets again on the 1st march, and i've been wondering if theres much of a Poker scene in the resort?

I came across a thread from '09 saying that the Alpina bar had a chipset, but nothing about whether they played regular there.
TBH i dont recognise the name Alpina bar from last year, maybe it changed?

Also, being my second time Boarding, would it be worth giving the Ski's a go?
If its going to take all week to learn it may not be worth it.

I usually organise a wee poker night and it was my chipset that was in the Alpina when Amiee and Arie ran it. Doubt it's still there, but if there's enough interest I'll bring a wee travel set out.

We usually have wee sit and go's with something like a 10lev buy in and long blinds, so you get a good long game for a fiver.

I'll be out from the 4th of March this year.

Im sure the Rila had a poker tourny on a wed night not sure if they still do. Was going to enter but got carried away drinking as usual.....

My last night is a wednesday, so ill be happy to lose the last of my Lev there.
I'll try not to get too carried away myself that night though. Missed the coach transfer to the airport last time after thinking a 2 hour nap at 5am was a good idea.

Yup, me and Stu will play ... will bring the chipset to Bobby's on the Tuesday night and see if there's still an oraganised thing in the Rila for wed
