OK, new name to some, old hat to others, only posted once or twice this season over on this side, BUT,
Last year we had a great couple of Poker nights in the Alpina and if anyone is up for doing it again let me know. It's a fun game for a very few lev ... last year most of it went in the Alpina Charity box anyway ... mainly cards and drinking. (not to say we can't have younger players, within reason, we got soundly whipped by a 15 year old for a few games last year)
Texas Hold Em ...

hi robert is this something that happens regularly in the alpina. We are coming on the 7th feb and would love to get involved in some poker. They should consider a poker evening every week what with the popularity of the game. Maybe you could mention it to them
We left Ari (the co-owner of the Alpina) with our wee travel chipset last year so I think if you ask him he might let you have a game ... when we did it last year we set up and were approached by a few people wanting in, so you won't be short of players. Careful though, Ari's a good player!
To bas, scott and anyone else who's interested,
I've posted the Alpina a message over on ski dvd so hopefully I'll hear from them soon. The Alpina is just across the road from the Flora ...
HI Vader,

I've posted the Alpina a message over on ski dvd so hopefully I'll hear from them soon. The Alpina is just across the road from the Flora so if we get a wee note up or something you'll see it no problem. Hopefully we'll have a date in mind before we all leave.
