So it looks like the snow isn't going to be great in Bansko - a group of 6 are going on the 20 december for a week ( 2 girls 4 boys aged 23-24) can you please give us some good ideas to interesting and exciting alternatives to skiing in Bansko?We do not need smart remarks like should have booked for january or gone to the alps !

a few years ago it was like this, and infact a couple of times in the past 5 years snow was dodgy at this time of yearplease dont panic yet. it is very possible that one morning prior to the 21st, u will look at the webcam and it will be amazing with snow.
i have skied every xmas for the last5/6 years

As said before (several times - lol) conditions can change very quickly and for all those going very soon then I hope they do. Remain positive - snow will hopefully fall in abundance very soon.

sure there'll be enough to ski comfortably by the time you go, remember that even if it ain't natural in bansko if the temps are right they can make it so there'll at least be a few runs open

Wander round the Sunday market- always good for a laugh. Check out the church iconography. Find the little art gallery with the cottage pot throwing industry in the back (you can sit down and throw your own pot). Some of the hotels, like the Kempinski, have swimming pools, massage and well beng centres, which you can pay for, (even as a non resident, I understand). There's the casino, the ice rink and the Playboy club. Why not think about taking a good book? The cake shop in Pirin Str. is ...

Let's face it, the skiing year starts mid December. No good trying to bring it forward. People will be trying to ski in June next!

As a regular visitor I say dont worry!Snow will be there just on time!Let others change their bookings and fly to the Alps.I am possitve about Bansko!
