Powder skiing

Yes it's true, first time this season. It was raining in Borovets but up on Yastrabets first thing this morning there was fresh powder nearly to the bottom of the slope. OK only about 5cm but it made the skiing very good.
And more to come. Very Happy Skiing

re:Powder skiing

Sure looks like it's snowing again on Yastrebets now (UK lunchtime). Most excellent to see this and the reports of lots of fluffy stuff to come soon. Heading out on 8th Feb so getting a bit more confident we may have a ski holiday that involves skiing Smile Smile Smile Smile

re:Powder skiing

If the forecasted snow does fall this weekend as forecast, it should pretty much open all of them. Assuming it does not warm up and the snow continues as forecast, you should have everything open by the 8th.

re:Powder skiing

Tom if the forecast is right, they will be needed to help dig the old boy out. Are the Mini Mancs in a class and if so with whom? Just wondering as my 7 year old is with Hunters (this will be his 4th time)

Hi Mark, according to snow forecast.com the temperatures are due to plunge from Saturday with the freezing level well below Borovets so all the slopes will keep the fresh snow and it will certainly be cold enough for snow cannons.
