Precipitation

Why not just say rain, snow, sleet or cats and dogs? Cuts the risk of sounding pretentious.

re: Precipitation

Who cares if it is rain or snow?
The main aim is that more foreigners can come to Bulgaria to give us their money. If there is no snow, they still will pay for the hotel, for the bars and so on.
Everybody knows that the season in Bulgaria starts in the mid January, so if you want to ski in December you should take the risk.

re: Precipitation

We say precipitation because depending on the average air temperatures at the time that precipitation can fall as rain, sleet, snow, hail, cats and dogs, frogs etc.

re: Precipitation

You can always choose to believe the tourist snow forecast websites instead - your choice.

re: Precipitation

I believe the web cams and holiday reports. Not smug vague forecasts that don't tell us anything we don't already know.

re: Precipitation

How is it being smug? Did they not tell you that it would rain instead of snow?

Webcams and holiday reports don't give you forecasts.

re: Precipitation

No they just tell it how it is. What if not tourist websites do you use to make your forecasts? Just interested.
