re: Prices

Drink and food is very cheap, obviously a little more in the resort than at Sofia. Beers are £1 or less, spirits are normally cheaper still. I think I remembered paying more for the coke than for the vodka. Equipment hire is cheap and readilly available from many places... however the cheapest option is to hire equipment and pay for lessons in advance through your travel agency.
If you are going independantly then many people on here can help you out regrading lift passes / equipment hire.

re: Prices

Skiing is expensive???? They are having a laugh!! A skiing holiday in Bulgaria is very cheap. 1st you MUST pre book your ski hire and lift pass with your tour operator before you go. This will save you a lot of money.

It is cheap to eat out I can have a 3 course meal for £10 per head with drink. Beer is around the £1 a bottle mark with spirits similiar but you get at least a double measure.

Anything else just ask. Very Happy

re: Prices

Jim, I've been going to Bulgaria for a few years now and whilst the prices are starting to rise slightly it's still considered to be the best pound for pound skiing holiday around. Incidentally, my wife and I are considering a divorce and will probably hire the services of one in Pamporovo as they are really good value.

Watch your back Lisa, I have heard of these Pamporovo divorces, two people go up the gondola, walk to a cliff edge for "a little talk" and only one comes down on the gondala... catch my drift? Razz
