Property advice

I am thinking of buying an apartment in Bansko. I would appreciate any advice regarding estate agents or good websites people have found.

Thanks

Sam

re: Property advice

I have been there and was very impressed with the infrastructure and modern lift system. There is a horrific amount of construction going on and I have concerns regarding the resorts ability to deal with all the new visitors. Some people talk about new lifts, pistes and gondola?

I love borovets but does it have to investment of bansko?

Thanks

Sam

re: Property advice

i think you will find borovets now has the best potential for increasing your investment, its still early days and a lot more prospects than bansko

re: Property advice

Sam,

I have just bought in Bansko as a holiday home and a letting opportunity.
Take a look at this other chat room that is just about Bansko. It has loads of useful info
http://talkbansko.6.forumer.com/index.php

As a quick guidline - don't buy if you are counting on the rentals covering the morgage, think of it as a 3 year minimum investment ( it could take that long for the building work to be finished ), go out in the spring / summer to see it without the snow.

If you register ...

If you register on the above link you can find all the info you need. But still go out there again. If you private message me on the above link I will forward you the name of the agent and developer I have bought from. My user name is smagsmith

Cheers

re: Property advice

have recently bought in Pamps at Grand Monastery. Superb location, and with the Perelik Project looming, hopefully a sound medium term investment. Also notas overcrowded as the other 21 resorts both for constructiuon and skiers

re: Property advice

Great advice Smag, the forum in talkbansko is fantastic and covers just about everything.

Well worth scouting older messages, highs and bewares on buying in Bansko etc etc.

Sam, I purchased through Emerging Real Estate and Experience BG. Some people have a smooth purchase others not so. My advice would be to go with a company that is well tried and tested and registed in UK.

Good Luck whatever Smile

re: Property advice

As I have stated many times - the main sponsors that pay for this site to operate and allow you to post freely are property developers and we have an agreement with them that no other property developers or sales companies will be advertised or recommended on here.

Please stick to that.

Many thanks.

re: Property advice

So make sure you only post mindless drivel about how much you want to drink / how much you miss skiing /how much you can't wait to ski repetitively and you'll fit right in. Try not to post anything useful as it'll get immediately swamped by the above mentioned inanity anyway.
