Take a sicky and risk my old ski's up a hill on the Chilterns or Sit in my car for 4 hours trying to get to London in the Chaos (no trains tomorrow, wrong type of snow) get to work and find the plane bringing my people in has been delayed (wrong sort of snow on the airstrip) and sit in traffic for another 4 hours trying to get out of London.(wrong sort of slush on the roads)
Remember its been two weeks since I've skied ...

Whatdaya think?
Go for it! You only live once! And count yourself lucky - we're only forecast a 'light dusting' up in Yorkshire, so all the optimistic banter about possible school closure in staffroom today turned out to be false hope!
Mind you, it'll be the 'wrong sort of dusting' so motorway will still grind to a halt anyway. Must remember to set alarm 2 hours early to ensure some small chance of arriving at work on time
15cms forecast for shropshire-hope it doesn't though cos i'm flying from bristol on saturday and don't want to be stuck in snow anywhere in england-in bugaria i don't mind but please not here
My postie is a hunky young snowboarder! Can't wait to see him leafing down my drive tomorrow!!!! But that's only if he manages to drive his van up to the top of the hill first...
