Maybe some of the posters should realise that some people don't like shouting it from the roof tops when they give to charity and have their own personal charities.

For many people giving to charity is a very private and personal thing, just because they're not donating to this appeal doesn't make them a bad person. I'm sorry to say comments like "I hope your never needy" etc say more about the person that wrote it than the person they are directed at.
I wish you good luck with your appeal.
I put an extra stamp on to be sure it gets to you as soon as possible! Closed up shop and threw it in the post, I sent cash instead as you'll get a better rate.
Good news, no great news actually fantastic news, a friend of the forum whom wishes to remain anonamous has just donated £500 towards the heating fund. £500 closer to keeping these children warm for many years to come http://www.orphanagestoikite-bg.org
