Hello, if the snow is in short supply, does anyone know where to book the quad bike safari in borovets as we are going tonight independently and not with a travel company?????

Hey rara, quick question. How did you manage to book your borovets holiday independently? We tried doing that coz the agencies didnt do the dates we wanted but all hotels said they had no vacancies (the vacancies were reserved for tour agencies).we went with an agency in the end but want to know for next time.

self catering accomodation I would think! there are plenty of sites including this one that offer self catering, food is cheap there and works out cheaper. There are also sites on web that you can get hotels from.we booked our flights independtly last year, then got accomodations and transfers from theis site a lot cheaper.

Hi Dimitry,If you go onto the wizz air web site you can get flights to Sofia for as little as £20, although at christmas you can pay more. our flights have cost £80 return from 29th - 5th Jan.
We have some friends that live in Samokov town, 10 mins away from Borovets.
You can get hotel rooms (not pp) from as little as £15 euro per night if you search the internet.

thanks roland, onmybumski seems unable to be polite enough to offer advice, hopefully will be able to do quad biking as dont think there is enough snow for the skidoo!!have fun!!

Sorry Rara if thought I was being Rude, Fogive me but I believe that one the reason behind the fact of having no snow is down to the issue of global warming, caused by such things a CO2 and other things. Ironic that you want to go to a ski resort add to the problem by filling the air with more immissions. Sorry but my views as a life long skier who wishes to carry on skiing in the future. Go mushroompicking instead, take a sharp knife, I here theres good pickings in them there mountains.. ...
