Got back from Borovets 2 weeks ago. Best exchange rate in the town was in the bank found in the basement of the somokov hotel next to the ski depot. Best option to take nice clean 20 pound notes and ignore the cash machimes as you will pay for it.

As for your skiing pop into Bobbys bar (next to gondola car park) and have a word with Bobby and Kas. Youll get great advice. Bobby works for hunters and will be able to sort some one 2 one or group lessons for you. Plus there will be ...

Plus Bobbys is a great bar with a friendly welcome, good food and drink at excellent prices. Just be aware of the tomatoe and chilli rakia!

Thanks for the advice bud, hope you had a good time,

Think Bobbys will be the first stop after checking in at the hotel, (cant wait for that feeling the next morning of having a hangover and everything being blinding white around me)

Ha! Im intruiged now, i remember hot rakia being delicious.

This is a whole new experience and probably not hot in the same way you think. It certainly caused a few people some problems on the slopes the following day (me included)! Have a great trip!
