Can somebody please help by answering these questions.
1. I have booked for a weeks skiing in Pamporovo
from 11th June. Is this a bit late in the season?
2. Is the Wall made of bricks?
3. Can I walk on a ski run?
4. Somebody gave me their lift pass from 1998, will
it still work?
5. Will it be colder some days more than others?
6. Can I buy chicken for dinner?
7. Is Bulgaria safe for adults?
8. Can I use Thai Bhat to pay ...

1. Probably - but you never know!
2. Only parts of it - but I've no idea which parts
3. Of course - thas assuming that you can actually walk!
4. You never know - try it amd see (but you may have to change the "photo" on it first.

2. Dont know, its always been covered in snow,when i've seen it.
3. In june, you may have too!
4. yes, but only only on every first and third tuesday of the month.
5. Only if you wear less clothes on some days.
6. Yes, but you must catch it yourself.
7. Safe most of the year, but not in june.
8. Yes, but only before 8:00 am.
9. There are no taxis in june.
10. No. But there are Tescos in most Uk major towns. So ...

Yes but all pisstaking aside,we were all new once, so its not really fair.
common sense is born from experience, dont put people off posting questions, its the only way to be sure, we have the experience to pass on, so lets do the best to help them.
btw, the most important nugget of info is:
Beer is VERY cheap, snow is slippery, that makes for a fun combo.

2)the wall in the winter is made from snowbricks, right in summer I believe it will be nice grass stones
3)you can choose your own if you wan't to jump, roll or walk, stupid question...

9)For what tyres, they have no taxis in this way you know in june in pamporovo, they use in this time donkey sleighs, all the taxis are at the Black Sea coast resorts to make her drivers browned, they will get back for the snowwash earliest in november

As the moderator of this board PP, I would have thought you would be a tad more sensitive to the inexperienced and sometimes concerned newcomers who are willing to give Bulgaria a try. This kind of sarcasm (although most amusing to those of us who follow the board regularly and have been to Bulgaria on numerous occasions) could well put people off.Have to say I agree with Boarder's comments re the beer and snow combination though!

sense of humour is one thing but alianating people who are willing to give Bulgaria a try is possibly not the best way for the snowsports to grow in such a country which is considered as a poor second to the rest of europes main ski areas.second thoughts, why do I care, you can all stay in France.....leave Borovets for me

Nothing wrong in asking questions if you are unsure but come on the will it snow on Feb23rd? question Or I am worried because the season has not started yet and there is no snow!! Or is their a Mcdonalds? Etc are just plain old daft!
Oh and if anyone is now put of from going to Bg after reading Petes posting as Angelica suggest's then ...
