I have been walking around the house in my new ski helmet - I look like one of those a tank drivers with their head poking out the top!!

I went out for a walk in the freezing cold yesterday - just to test my new ski jacket. Narrowly avoided walking into a lamp post as I was busy checkin out all hidden pockets, zips, etc.re: Quiet

Yip, bought new socks, one of those fleecy neck warmers that double up as a hat, new goggles and the helmet. I'm getting the ski's waxed and tuned this weekend (I really must learn how do that myself) and then it is off to Sestriere for xmas/new year before heading back to my beloved Bansko on the 27th Jan - wooohooo!!
