I am on the cusp of a "new age" as my Mum kindly puts it and will go "over the hill" in July!! Simon was nearly 42 when we went to Borovets in 2003 for the first time and had a great time and we couldn't wait to get back again this year. In fact we found that we were actually quite young compared to a lot of other people skiing in BG
Yes we live in Bicester. Where abouts are you?
You will love skiing I'm sure - we have found it to be fun, sociable and exciting so good ...

Sorry Ellie - didn't mean to imply that I thought you were over 40! Just remember reading a posting of yours mentioning Bicester. We're from Witney, I popped over to Beans the other day to have a look at the ski wear, may hire some bits from them.Now scouring Ebay to buy what I can 2nd hand.

You have a little girl don't you? My daughter will be too shy to go to KIndergartenSki on her own so on of us wil need to miss a lesson and amuse her I guess. Did your little girl have skiing lessons?
Thanks for the encouragement, 9 mths is a long time to wait but I have to work on my fitness so just as well.

Alister is 8 and Rosie is now 7, They skiied in kindergarten in 2003 and loved it. When we went back this year I stayed with the children and Simon skiied with our Bulgarian friend who is an instructor and joined us for the Wednesday and Friday.
How old is your daughter?? It is possible for you all to ski together so don't worry about missing lessons as this isn't necessary. I stayed with the children because that is what suited US! Our friends ...
