Sorry it's a bit later than I'd hoped for - but no use posting until I'd got all the information.

Right are you ready for this ---- IT IS SNOWING IN BULGARIA!!!!! All resorts. And by the look of the skies, this could well be the dump we all so desperately need.

PAMPOROVO

Current forecast :- Snowing fairly heavy in resort at the moment, skies are black and look full of snow and the snow is expected to last all night and into tomorrow. All lifts are working and all runs except blacks and reds are in use. Still patchy rocks and grass on most slopes but tonights fall may well put that to rights.

BOROVETS

Current forecast:- Light snow now falling and getting heavier as I type. Rila lift operating now and then, still checking it out after the breakdown. Some large queues in the morning but thinning by mid-day. Runs thinning vbut no worse than at Xmas and as with Pamporovo the new snow looks as if it will make a huge difference.

BANSKO

Snow cannons still working flat out and the ski road is fully open to the base but care needed in places. Snowing fairly steady at the moment and conditions could well be near perfect if the fall last for 24 hours.

Very general I know but with the current fall of snow the report could be out of date by tomorrow so I'll find out the level of fall in the morning and update you again then.

Final point - all those going this weekend WILL SKI AND BOARD - PROMISE no matter which resort you are heading for.
