As mentioned in a previous post, Amiee at the Alpina has suggested Monday for a wee poker night (the 26th) and by general consensus the time will be around 9pm (got to wait until Ari has stopped doing the food so he can play too)

No Limit Texas Hold 'Em - 10 or 11 seater sit and go's with a low buy in (I'm suggesting 4 lev -£2- for a few games and maybe a 10 lev -£5- game later for the hardcore later on ... we can decide that amongst ourselves).

In case you don't know the structure of a sit n go ... the buy-in (say 4 lev) is ALL you pay for the game, that will get you a few thousand chips and you'll play until you win or lose. If last year is anything to go by, a game lasted around 45 mins, so no-one lost (or won) more than a few lev and no-one was sitting around for ages waiting for the next game to start.

Talking of winning, if ten people play at 4 lev a head, we'd split that 40 lev three ways ... winner gets 50%, 2nd around 30%, 3rd around 20% or rather 20lev, 12lev and 8 lev -ish, not loads, but enough for a round of drinks and a kebab!
