The crown, The black cat two of the best places I went to. The golden chicken I would not recommend, just my opinion,re: RUN DOWN OF PLACES TO EAT IN BORO?
katys steak house is lovely for a nice meal, book it in advance and have a 3 course meal with wine for £25 head.eagles rock near the rila had great food also.

go to stevens bar, up on left in front of the rila, best food youll find.. big everton fan he is and a bit hyper but great crack...also say hello to his sister

All of the above are ok, Katies for Steak and Franco's for pizza for sure. For something a bit more authentic, take the road by the gondola, not the main strip and give The Green King and in particular Rhima a go.
