I am still in Borovets getting over a really bad stomach. We arrived on Saturday 26th Jan. On sunday night we went to the Red Dragon to eat a chinese. The service is really bad and you are made to feel very unwelcome. The lady behind the bar, (the one with the slaped arse face) got in a huff when we asked for drinks and was being as rude as she could to every body comming in. The food was not hot even though it was all deep fried. We have spent the next few days with our arses glued to the ...

The food was not hot even though it was all deep fried. We have spent the next few days with our arses glued to the toilet. I would not recomend this shit hole.
There are many other places for you to spend you money where you are made to feel like a valued customer. The best palce in Borovets is the mexican restaurant called Mamacitas, it is just near the Samocov Hotel. The food is so nice and fresh. the staff are very kind and make you feel special. They have a live mexican band every night 6-9, they are very good.
The best place for pizza is called Joy, just next to the Gondala.
Remember to stay away from the Red Dragon.

If I remember right if you turn right instead of crossing the road to the gondola it'e down there on the right.

We have a house just outside of Borovets and have eaten in the Red Dragon many many times over the past 5 years. We have always had lovely food and a really nice evening. Strange post for your 414th post. Franks obviously wanted to tell everybody about his experience.I must admit when we stayed in Boro we went to the Red Dragon and I wasn't too impressed with it. Unfriendly service, greasy food that was tepid at best. Doesn't seem to have improved by the sound of it.

In fact, the more I think about it the more WSP's post substantiates the claims by site users that it's becoming a clique and more unfriendly.Instead of being so smarmy wouldn't a response along the lines of "Sorry to hear you had a bad experience but welcome to the board" have been better received?
