Red dotted line

Red dotted line number 2 on bansko piste map.
Is it ski-able from the bottom of blue 12 through to Chalin Valog? I have been down there and noticed the bridge before, but never looked in detail..... Ok, I' bored at work.

Yes very much so - it's an interesting and normally very quiet little run that gets you to the top of chalin valog and the mid station of the gondola... bit flat in places, so better on Skis than a board... I didn't discover it until about my 4th Bansko trip - and first time I did it, was knee deep powder with only a couple of tracks.

It's a narrow run and not sure how often / if at all it gets pisted....

My 4th trip also, i will be looking towards the trees too.

Good man... When are you out?

That run benefits from a waxed board and as much speed as you can stomach.... and even then there will be a bit of skating a the end...

better get my skis waxed then, Out on the 27th Dec for 10days and looking to explore.
how long is that little run, 300m

Hard to say TBH - I loose all concept of time when I'm boarding... Maybe a similar length as Shili to the top gondola station? Guessing really....

It will take 10 mins to ski tops. It can turn into a walk though if there is too much snow as there isnt much of a decent. no ski canons either so if there is limited snow, the rocks can appear through the surface. But worth doing for a bit of variation.

Plenty of speed needed to get over and up the little bridge!

Well worth a go !! You will normally catch me face planted around 16:00 most days on the dotted red !
