Reliable Weather Forecast

Hi All!

Me and a few mates are planning to visit Bansko on the 29th and like most.....I am currently glued to every weather forecast I can find.

Unfortunately few offer me any solace....or indeed any consistency! Forecasts seem to vary somewhat....from sub tropical to sub zero!

Can anyone reccomend a good website that has been pretty accurate that i can view?

Answers on a postcard pls...or blog....whatever suits....

re: Reliable Weather Forecast

Ni is the answer. Snow forcasting anything over 5 days in advance is very innacurate.

re: Reliable Weather Forecast

AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH what info do you want? What you mean is can anyone say to you that loads of snow will fall before you arrrive? Ok it will snow everyday from now until you arrive. Happy?
All the forcast sites are crap at forcasting much more than 5 days in advance. Finding one that says it will snow by your date might make you feel better but it may not be right.
Snow is forecast accross Bulgaria next week lets hope it's heavy.

re: Reliable Weather Forecast

dan I am just after a reliable weather website if anyone knows of one?

I dont expect any gurantees of snow as I can see the amount of discussion thats already causing people grief on this site!

Mind you anything is better than the weather in the UK at the mo.

Its so windy it could blow a dog off a chain outside!

re: Reliable Weather Forecast

Rumple there are no RELIABLE weather sites is what Dan is trying to say. I check out a couple every day and they change by the hour if not the quarter hour. The Met can't get it right for us as a long range forecast and have years and years of experience and 2 massive computer hall to help them. Take anything you see more than a couple of days in advance with a pinch of salt and go with an open mind and enjoy your time away from same old same old UK

re: Reliable Weather Forecast

so basically you are saying that I should get hold of a gypsie?

dont worry there are plenty nearby as I live in the Midlands.

I will go and promptly knock one up forthwith.

However most of the gypos near me specialise in scrap metal and block paving but I will give it a batter.

cheers
