What I really mean is that I already have my own boots etc - and you mentioned that it was a 1km walk to the lift. In Austria I carried my ski boot bag and changed at the ski lift leaving my walking boots in a locker. (hope this makes sense!!)

Is there a short cut to the ski centre from the hotel ? I thought it was quite a bit farther than 1 km by road !

Ski depot 1 is closer than the malina depot. perhaps thats the one Sal was talking about.

You were right Karen we were at Malina last time but have booked with Balkan this time.

I mean that Ski Depot 1 is about 1km from the Hotel Pamporovo yes. Sorry should have specified. I heard about all the gangster stuff too! They were in the Hotel Pamp eating and people were arrested lying face down in the snow outside the police checkpoint!
