Sooo, lets really get a boarder/skier discussion going...
I'll start with the fact that.... when watching a boarder come down a piste, they all seem to be right on the edge of control, the smallest thing upsetting the applecart, and sending them groundwards... normally right in front of me
Boarders sideslipping (which is all they seem to do) sweeping any loose snow off, exposing the hardpack underneath, very noticeable this season...

Im all for segregation, keep all boarders in snowdomes (Xscape, Glasgow ??)
Greenland should have enough snow to keep boarders busy. Off to Greenland with them. I believe that there is a fishing boat leaving from Arbroath with a bit of space on it.
I've just started to learn to board ready for my first snow holiday (if there's any left) so know all about this feeling of being right on the edge of control!!
Still I look cooler than the skiiers!
Being a Westcountry boy surfing was to me almost a religion when i was young, it went the way of boarding, the beaches full of suedo surfers, with all the gear, and no ability
Greenland sounds good, are the pistes wide ?? so they have plenty of space to sit down
1) you are balanced on a knife edge in each turn, not very stable..
2) when not carving (rare enough) they are sideslipping..
3) however footed, they are blind one-way to anyone around them..
4) straight-line stability is negligible, just waiting for disaster..
5) the need for armour, everywhere, so much for freedom..
6) the need for labels, so last year..
7) the need to stop, take off board and walk on flattish piste.. the need ...
Just to mix it up...
Negatives of boarding..

Have you got nothing better to do today than sit there and stir the pot Steve. Surely there is some ongoing maintainance you can be doing on that bus of yours
