Rila is really the centre of the resort, I have stayed there four times before and there again in two weeks. The main reception / bar area is a hustly bustly place with a good vibe but not quiet if thats what you like and all the other bars and eateries are very close, you'll have a great time
I allways go for a rila studio when i go because they are bigger and you get a small kitchen area so take your tea coffee and sugar. There is a kettle that you have to put on the electric hob but its crap takes ages. I take a travel kettle much better cups plates and spoons are all there.
Its all table service in the 24 hr bar and I would give the Girls 9/10
Haggling locals ? no worries
ability to get from bar to bar is very easy as the village is not that big and the Rila is Massive so you should have no probs in getting back BUT you must have senisible walking shoes as the locals rely on the summer sunshine to clear the ice and snow from the pavements.
