Roads

Having recently had a family memeber visit Bansko I was wondering whether there are plans to improve the road to Bansko as I hear it is a bit pot holed in places. We plan to visit at the end of the year. I know that seems a long way off but am really looking forward to it Question Very Happy

Hi Daniel it is the same on the way to Borovets. Its like the dodgems and a bit hair raising in places.

I think it is BG roads in general!

I always know I am on my way to Bansko when it's bouncey bouncey on the coach Razz

I think they have not cottoned on to asphalt over there yet, bless.

roads are pot holed best part is the drivers, drive nice and slow on the new tarmaced roads and speed up when they get to the pot holed parts.

Melissa, believe me the road to Borovets is like a putting green compared to the caverns on the way to Bansko.

Good news is that it's well worth the ride!

Realy Chris, wow the way to Borovets was hair raising enough. Not only that but they drive so close to the back end of the car infront and then overtake on blind corners. I think a few Booze is a good idea
