just had my Balkan E-TICKET posted on line today, leaving Newcastle 15.00hrs 16/1/11- no mention of picking up in Manchester first or stopping there on route home, though flight time home has changed- leaving sofia 10.30 now on 23/1/11.Did you manage to get booked- are you picking up at Newcastle?

Just looked at Balkan site not coming up to stop at Manchester that week but week later 23rd stopping off at edinburgh and have to agree you have read that info to proceed but not coming up for 16th so think straight there and back your week.janet

Thanks Janet- just Rob said he was picking up at Newcastle and our times had changed! knowing Balkan had put 2 and 2 together!straight there hopefully then!

Hi Ian, we managed to get booked yes, had to book in a 6 and a 4 though due to us not been able to book in a 10. I'm picking my tickets up on tuesday as they are ready for collection, we land in sofia @ 20.20 local time but we have been told our flight leaves manchester at 13.15 and heads to pick up at newcastle. Just hope they get some snow! Iv been reading the updates and I'm scared that some of the runs will be shut. Another thing, when ic skied in tialy iv normally just skied in a hooded ...

we depart Newcastle at 15.15hrs, so will be your plane then!
My tickets are an e Ticket arrived a few days ago, one page for the 3 of us, not ticket like at all, but states we dont need anything else-
As for skiing with just a hoodie on- i have done that in March, but hopefully it will be too cold- and that hopefully will meen theres some more snow!
Otherwise you may be walking around in a t-shirt!
Never mind, whatever the weather its a relaxing break and plenty of bars to ...

I'm starting to worry about the snow now though, I know its atleast 3 weeks till we fly out but its starting to worry me big time! I'd rather wear my ski coat and have some snow than be walking around in a t-shirt all holiday :/ but I just hate wearing the thing, I feel all restricted!
Just have to see what its like when we get there I suppose, nothing we can change about the weather. I'll be annoyed if we get there and there's hardly anything!

Dont they say though with Global warming we will not have the hotter weather but the colder!wheres that right!
Ill worry a little about the snow a week before we go mate!

Ohh I have no idea about Global Warming really to tell you the truth!ahah.Iv been looking at the snow forecast and there's some forecasted for boxing day, onwards (supposedly!).
Is it possible for you to pick your emails up when your out and about? Just wondering it might be better to email if you struggle to get back to talk on here?
I'm away currently so if it takes me ages to reply its because iv to do it all from my phone :/
