Hi Lorraine - my real name is Nicci & I'm coming with my husband Greg and 2 daughters Holly 12 and Macy 9 - never been skiing before so a little nervous especially with the packing!!

Hi Nicci, if you want any tips on what to take 1st time, let us know. We took our girls for the 1st time about the same age. Main thing to remember is to make sure they are warm!!!Also depends where you are staying but would always try to make sure they get a decent breakfast.
Let me know if you want any more info but if its any concelation.... if you ask my girls which is their best ski holiday, its always Borovets!!

Hi fleeties - think we met you in Bobby's as part of the 28th Jan crew. Big party of us this year 5 arriving on 23rd, us 6 on 24th and 2 more on 26th. Combined with a wedding blessing on 29th its going to be quite a party!! See you all there

Hi Nicci, we aren't great at the skiing ourselves but we got a few lessons from Bobby last year and he was brilliant. Hope to improve this year. I would pack a box of tea bags if you,like your tea!! I always bring a box with me. We aren't staying in Borovets, have a house about 15 minutes away but we will be there most days. The kids will love it, it's like a winter wonderland with wooden huts and ponies and carts and the smell of the fire...it's lovely. Maybe try to get some of the ...

Maybe try to get some of the thermals in Aldi or Lidl for the kids because it does get cold but saying that last year we were up the top of the mountain and the sun was shining, it was quite warm. Might be a good idea to pack the sunglasses aswell! I know that sounds a bit mad for a winter holiday but when the sun shines on the snow it's dazzling. Look forward to meeting you all.
