Royal tower info - BANSKO

Hi there,
planning on getting a trip to bulgaria sorted this week. Looking at booking an apartment at the royal towers complex in bansko for 6 people. I can appreciate that it will be pritty tight on space with 6 of us, but is the place ok? After cheap as possible, a good location to the town/lift and close to food/drink would be good?
any info would be much appreciated
thanks

re: Royal tower info - BANSKO

Hi David,
Have stayed at the Royal Towers for last 3 years and booked for 2012. The apartment we use is decked out to a high standard and accommodates 4 adults easily; reception and restaurant are clean and welcoming. It's a great location, literally a few minutes walk from gondola station and fairly central to shops, restaurants, etc., a bit of a walk to the old town though. Complex has ski storage facilities next to reception if your space is tight.
Hope this helps - enjoy your trip ...

Bansko Royal Towers is maybe one of the most popular locations in Bansko, right opposite the gondola, nice facilities, well run...
That said, there is a number of privately rented apartments so to comment on all would be misleading, but generally all are very good. A number of new developments will benefit BRT this season, the new `Queens Pub' and Mehana, the new supermarket, and the new `Friendly Nightclub and restaurant' (supposably Chinese) all of which are being built as we speak in the ...

Hi David,

When I'm in Bansko I always stay at the BRT, the location is hard to beat in town, especially if you like to be on the first gondola up in the mornings. The pool area is also great. I always book direct with the owners as the price is much better. You might be better off booking 2 apartments as it will be a tight squeeze with 6 in there. The price is usually cheaper booking two 1 bed apartments compared to one 2 bed apartment. Most of the owners there seem to talk to one another ...

The price is usually cheaper booking two 1 bed apartments compared to one 2 bed apartment. Most of the owners there seem to talk to one another so it should be possible to just have to deal with the one owner if booking more than one apartment.
Already booked there for 2012 and looking forward to seeing all the new developments for this season.

This is just my opinion obviously but I've been going to Bansko on and off for nearly 10 years now and as I mentioned always stay at the BRT these days.

Have a great trip.

re: Royal tower info - BANSKO

Hi David,

You're welcome. I use a rental website.
I always book villa's through it as well for summer holidays and never had a problem booking directly and have always found all the owners on there to be really helpful.

Hope this helps.
