I think this is alot of hot air, no pun intended Maybe we should give Mr Plamen a call and ask him whats the story. Ryanair have a section on their website for sking holidays so maybe their intention is to inlude Bulgaria as part of this.

Not convinced myself. Remember that Plovdiv is no more than a converted military airbase that is used commercially virtually only to ferry people to Pamporovo for skiing on a limited basis. Any rise in footfall and the airport simply would not be able to cope - so don't hold your breath ...... you may turn blue.

Yep its on the cards, trouble has been there needs to be some work on the airport to bring it to minimum standards and until about june there were problems over the ownership and permissions, however its now sorted and i believe some german co is now the license hloder, so watch this space.....
